I am looking at getting my first Harley. It will be my first bike in about 10 years. I am looking for any suggestions. I will be riding 2up quite a bit. Thanks for the help.
Not really enough information in your question to make an intelligent suggestion. What kind of riding will you be doing? How big a boy are ya'? Short on cash, or you can afford about anything you pick? Do you need any storage capability? Go to your local dealer and check out the used bikes or see if you can test ride a few new models.
All the models Harley offers can handle two up riding, but that doesn't mean they may be the best suited for you. Go to the H-D website and check out the different models; they have lots of tools on their website to help you decide. Good luck!
Sorry for not being more consise. I am looking for a bike that can do city riding, and the once or twice a month doing longer rides. Cash is not really an issue. I am about 5'10" just under 200 lbs. Storage is not an issue. I have been to the dealer and looked at what they have, a few models stuck out to me. I like the nightster, the dyna wide glide and the new blackline. I am not as familure with all the models as I should be.
wideglide has a brand new lighter weight frame and from what I've read handles very well. maybe take one for a spin, harley dealers are doing test rides now.

Nightster might be a little small for 2 people and modst Sportster owners seem to end up wanting a bigger Harley after they havng around other riders for a while. Nothing wrong with the DWG or the Blackline. Basically, do you like the look of the chocks on the sides on the DWG, or the softail Blackline (shocks hidden under the bottom)?
Personally, I like softails and don't like Dynas much, but other people are the opposite.

Be like ME. Check out Craig's List. There's some smokin' bargans if your willing to look around a while...and travel a little ways. With these tough times, there are a lot of guys having to give up their toys. If your gonna be taking the little woman with ya...I'd say steer clear of a Sportster. I bought a used Dyna. It was 1/3 the cost of a new one, and had only 34oo easy miles put on it. I knew I didn't want a Bagger because of the running around I wanted to do solo. But my Dyna is set up with detatchable windshield and bags...for day trippin'.........best of both worlds. Good Luck.
