All right. I just got home from a ride and put the S.G. on the lift. Grabbed the oil pan for the lift and opened the drain plug. The freaking oil flew out, hit the edge of the oil tray and sprayed all over the floor. What a freaking mess. I'm not so sold on the oil tray anymore.

So are you saying the pan for the jack goes to fast for your catch can at the bottom??? If so definitely get a bigger catch can/pan.
No, the oil was hot and came out of the engine so fast that it missed the tray and ended up on the floor. I'm not sure how else to explain it other than maybe the oil needed to cool down so as not to flow so freely.
