I have a question that might seem elementary to some. For those of you who have the Sears Yellow jack and perform your own oil changes, where do you placethe oil pan to drain the oil? It seems that the jack would be in the way. Or you do not lift the bike?
I'm sorry if this seems like a silly question, but I had the bike jacked up over the weekendto clean itand I was thinking that there will be no way to fit an oil pan below the bike with the bike lifted with the jack.
For those that perform your own oil changes and have the Sears Yellow jack, how do you do it?
I have the red lift and position it toward the front of the street bob and have just enough room for the drain pan to fit next to the lift. works for me.

See Cornel, all you need to do is paint your jack red.
I use only the rear pad on the jack and position it under the front of the frame to hold the bike upright. No need to lift the bike up in the air to drain the oil. If you're just changing engine oil, leave it on the jiffy stand. The drain plug is on the low side that way and it'll drain out just fine. If you're draining the transmission, you'll need to hold the bike upright so all the oil drains out.
I do the same as ORD just use a piece of 2x4 under the primary to balance out the bike... you can always just wedge a funnel under there to direct the oil anywhere... i even lean on the back fender to tip the bike back to get as much of the bad oil out... then again i do have my bro hold the bike just in case! do not want that jack flying out from under... i got my jack from Harbor freight... cheap and has saved me tons!
