after ape install, tank is full, now fuel gauge isnt working. I unplugged all the connections without disconnecting the battery to troubleshoot something else, and now its now cycling. it worked beforehand.

what I'm wondering is if there is a process to reset it? if you know what i mean, IE disconnect battery, disconnect wires, reconnect wires, reconnect battery. help please, this is irking the **** out of me.

 

No idea, but maybe disconnecting the battery for a minute will "reset" everything

The one on my 03 FXDL has never worked and I don't trust the one on the rkc, even tho it seems fairly accurate. Just use the trip odometer, it's your best bet. ie: 35mpgx6gal=210 miles, fill up at 175 and you'll be fine
