Move to Illinois. They exempt motorcycles from Ipass transponder. They bill you off your license, cause it's too dangerous to be screwing with transponders. Chalk up 1 for common sense in government.
Actually, in IL, they'll do that with any vehicle (charge it to whatever account your plate is registered to).
I just remembered something else I lost - Cell phone car charger. I just lost it on my recent trip to Florida. I was keeping the phone plugged in, in my saddle bag, so my sister could track me via GPS. I told her it was mostly so someone would know where to look for my body if I went missing.
At a gas stop, I went in to get something to drink. Took my cell phone with me and pulled the charger out of the power socket a little so it wouldn't be lit up and obvious. Took off with the phone in my pocket. Somewhere between there and my next stop, I heard something, which I later figured out was the charger falling out. I'm glad the wire didn't get wrapped up in my back wheel. That might have sucked.
Went through a drive through bank lane and needed to give them my license to get the check cashed. Put the cash in my jeans pocket but put the license in my shirt pocket. A few minutes later on the freeway and felt something hit my arm. Didn't realise it was my license until I stopped. Only took once to realize the shirt pocket isn't very secure on a bike.
Switched from sunglasses to night goggles, stuck the shades in my shirt pocket and the last time I seen them was in the rear view mirror right before the car behind me ran them over. Finally bought some WileyX transitions, no more switching glasses.
When I first got my SG, I was new to HD. I didn't have my bike a week, and lost my key and alarm fob, when I left it in the ignition switch. Felt something fall, but didn't see anything and didn't realize what it was till I stopped by the dealer to pick something up, come back out and the bike won't start. Lesson learned when it costs me money......
Passin thru Lewiston, Montana, lost a pair of $80 ('94 prices) pair of gloves. Stopped to fill up and left them on the saddlebag when I took off. Turned around, not 2 minutes later to go look for them and they were gone! Happened to be a local rally in town so figure another rider got a NICE pair of gloves. Froze my fingers off the rest of the ride back to AK. Couldn't find anything comparable along the way. Also lost a bolt to a brand new set of footpegs. Loctite is the secret!
Bought new footpegs - rider and passenger - and bungee corded 'em to my luggage rack on the back of my Wide glide. 20 miles later when I got home the bungee cord broke - no footpegs!!! Threw out all the bungee cords I had after that!!!

I have magnetic sunglasses the attatch to my glasses. Last year I flipped up my helmet visor and the wind caught the sunglasses and they flew right off my face at 75 MPH. The cool thing was that as they flew off I snatched them right out of the air with my left hand. Couldn't do that again in 1 million years. I now have regular prescription sunglasses and those will not fly off.
Well, lost my mind but recovered a fair amount of it. Riding on the Baltimore beltway, people were passing and waving and flashing their lights. I thought, "gee, what a bunch of nice folks". Got to the rest stop down 95 and saw that my tool bag was open. Lost some cigs, air guage, sunglass case, mag light, etc. Lost some money even with a secured shirt pocket, it will sneak out the sides next to the button. Lost a cap out of an open saddlebag. I try really hard to make sure everything is secure, but....what were we talking about?
