seat for 87 flhtc tank replacement with 99 flht tank
Hello
I have an 87 flhtc and I replaced the tank with a 99 flht.
of course the old seat doesn't fit and im looking for a replacement.
the old seat use to have a bar in the front which slid into a metal tab which was bolted to the bike. The new seat will have to to a single mounting bolt.
does anyone know if I can just purchase a 99 flth seat and it will magically work on my bike now. Any chance the seat fit the same to the frame and the rear mounting holes on the fenders were the same and the only thing different was the front mount?
