Thanks for the info. I just didn't know there was a difference in motors. Still like my bike better, mostly because it's mine.

I have a stage IV ISO mounted 103" in my LowRider, VH Radius 2/2 with BCT baffels. Its loud and shakes. I say its like riding a machine gun and wouldnt have it any other way.

HD doesn't use the "B' motor (counter balanced) in the touring bikes because with the counter balance you lose some of the HP that the motor develops. Therefore, with the heavier touring bikes you would notice a significant lessening of power.

. . . and in your definition you'd be rubber mounted, while the rest of us are solid mounts?

Now, now, you really don't want us to play the "not a true Harley" card?

the balanced and unbalanced thing made me think of the 1960's when the dealer offered a stroker kit and shaving the flywheels. Kept you with an astronaut smile but no good on long rides.
I havent noticed the balanced engine slowing me down coming off the line on my night train or a big gain in acceleration with my street glide being unbalanced.
things change though. used to you actually had to race someone to have a fast bike now you just walk up to the bar on bike night with a dyno slip waving it around yelling "beat this bitch"..wussification of america out of control....
