Well, I spent all weekend thinking about a good friend and member of my club that we lost on Friday night. The punk that hit him was drunk and high on weed. At least he was arrested and will be charged with intoxication manslaughter (which is a 2nd degree felony in Texas with minimum 2 yrs, max 20 years sentence).
Once again...tired of hearing this crap. Very sorry for your friend. I certainly hope your entire club membership will be showing up for all of the hearings in court for the ahole that killed your friend. You need to have the injured passenger there as well as some media people so the attending Judge can know that a connected lawyer cannot get this one swept under the rug.
One way to get media attention is to call the covering reporter and just leave a message that multiple bikers will be showing up at court. Then call ALL of you local TV stations.
