I was getting ready to go out for a ride when I remember what John and Art said in an earlier post. See if the Admin would let us set up something that would bring to the attention of all our members when a fellow rider was lost, or even a friend or family member of one of our members. I'm not sure how it would be set up, but I think that they had a good idea and possibly worth persueing. What do ya think?
I remember when my buddy was killed in front of my eyes. It was awful.
At the funeral no-one wanted to even speak to me because I was a biker, like Roach who was riding with him and me when he died. His family put him in a suit, shaved him, God, it was disgusting, it was not Pat.
I do not believe in God, and have told every one I know that when I die throw my ashes over Igazu Falls, a place I love.
We should have a request site. IF i die, Liz will not be able to deal with it, but someone should toss me over the falls. I'll leave a monetary gift for a sponser.
Maybe a seperate category could be made for "Good and Welfare" where members could post if someone was lost, or ill? Fellow members could then do as they see fit. I investigate fatal crashes for a living and have found that whether it is a roadside memorial, or just wanting me to look at a family album, people need to know that their lost love one will be missed, even by those who never met them. There are an awesome bunch of people on this board and I believe we can make it work.
