I've attended some local parties, not only did they photograph our plates, they video taped us as we were arriving. 6 in total........3 stills, and 3 with video cameras, and No, I don't live in a small town, happens to us in the larger cities also.
Not the first time that has happened in Texas but some of us must get out more. Some crap never changes but it is sad to see it happens to others. I would hate to think that we were special.

Been there......
ROT rally Austin Tx 2007. We rented an RV and therefore were separate from the other clubs. Thursday someone noticed a guy in a dark blue Tahoe filming our campsite and parked bikes. A Fed. Just one. After more than a few minutes one of our officers approached him. Cop was mocking us and laughing about using his "new digital equipment". Flashed a badge and was wearing some Gang Task Force shirt. He was pretty loud and proud about it. Had to gather intel to justify the new toys I suppose.
We offered him food in exchange for some good shots for our website. He refused both. Later the next day he was back and forth filming newly arriving bikes and new faces. The man stayed in the Tahoe but was no more than 5ft outside our designated campsite. But the really odd situation happened to me. He took out a handheld parabolic microphone and had it aimed at me while I was on my cellphone with a lady friend. I saw it and walked around back of the RV outta his site. He got out and walked down the road till he could once again aim it at me. Strangest invasion of privacy I have ever experienced. I put aside the cell phone and asked him if he was really recording my call? He said the film probably couldn't read my lips through the beard. Nothing like that since. That's the moment I decided to make a difference in preserving Liberty and defending basic rights.
We had it happen while attending Black Thursday (the day we meet our Reps) on the state capitol grounds. Cop was crawling in the bushes to record our plates. We got him on video. One piece of evidence that helped pass the anti profiling bill in this state.
Mi3NINOS-----hey do you remember hearing about that ...i think she was a state rep from the valley that spoke up for bikers that were being harrassed by various leos and politicians? She openly said if times got hard and she ever had to count on anyone she would rather be with the bikers because she trusted them more than her fellow politicians.--Ive been looking for it for a long time and thought since you seem to be the political biker you might know something about it.
Female cops have more ***** than just about anybody in this forum including you. They have to put up with more **** than the male cops do and they have to work harder just to get through the academy training and any other training. Same goes for females in the military.
Also not "flaming" on you, just telling you the truth that obviously you didn't know, figured that was something anybody would know.
I don't know what you're smoking, but you could pass ot around, ya know.
