One of the local dealers have said they have orders for the 2013 bikes already and its a good time to buy because the bike prices are as low as they ever been (here in Canada because of the strength of the CDN dollar).
Every year there is rarely any info on the next years bikes until June/July, is it possible the dealers are taking orders for the 2013 bikes? And how would they know the prices or what models would be offered?
To me it looks like they would just keep your money (and collet interest) until next year then place the order and then advise if the model or price is OK.

I don't think he has them mixed up. He said people are skipping the 2012s and placing orders for the 2013 anniversary bikes. Of course they wouldn't get their bikes until later in 2012.
With that being said, I am getting my tires changed on Tuesday so I going to ask for more info on ordering a 2013.
How can you reserve a bike for a model year that you won't even know if that bike is around. I would say if that is in fact for a 2013 and not a 2012, that is one shady dealer.
I've got a good friend in the MOCO he has confided in me that the 2013 models will have some new technology. The touring models will come standard with a compass and sundial
