old picture

i was going though some old pictures with my mom and found this picture of my uncles from back in the day, my dad and uncles all rode, thought it was right cool

I love these threads with old photos of parents/grandparents riding. I've posted these several time in the past, so if you've already seen them, sorry for the repeat. The first one is my dad (far left) in June 1944, his sister and the man she eventually married on the right. The second photo is my dad again in June 1944 with his Indian Chief. The third photo is my cousin's grandfather and grandfather's brother in 1914 sitting on the brand ned HD's that they just purchased. I have a photo copy of the invoice showing that the bikes cost $245.

Cool old pictures. They really show heritage. I love hearing stories from my Father and his buddies about riding them old bikes. They had problems affording tires and repairs.

thanks, rh8234,love the pics, i remember running out in the front yard when i was little to watch them take off down the old dirt road!
