Ain't nuttin like my Biker Babe in a pair of Chaps... Va... Va... Voom! Strangely enough... besides protecting against the cold which they do wonders... They also protect against engine heat... and in the unlikely event you fall down... whatever abuse the chaps take... would have been inflicted on your skin... We all wear a coat of leather... it's called skin... Chaps add a second layer... They breath...and they protect.

At high speeds my jeans flap a lot around my calves and the chaps stop it from chafing my skin. Also, I do all my riding at over 7,000' feet here in Colorado...at those elevations, even in the middle of the summer, they are the best for keeping my lower body warm.
