I should get a gold star: 1200miles on a Leperra bare bones!
Well I made it to Montana from California on my Bare Bones and i've been here 2 days and my *** is still numb and sore. One thing I did was order a Mustang vintage solo 17" the day I got here. Tward the end I could only go 75 miles before a but break. I will never do a long trip on this seat again. But what an awesome ride. Tomorrow I will do Yellowstone then Zion national park and hit the Grand cannion on the way home. I really should have bit the bullet and had a custom fitted Corbin made before I left.
I don't mind mine so much. My le pera cobra has gel in it and that thing is hard as a rock. After about an hour I need to get off that thing. The bare bones doesn't bother me.
I used to ride om a Bare Bones back when I was in my 40's, ten yrs can make a big difference. I rode from Dallas to Denver and down thu New Mex in the middle of August back then-turned out to be about 2500 miles and it was great, the Bare Bones seemed like a rock on the 1st git go but after a while it conformed to my *** and it was great from then on- I thought about getting another for the Bob but I don't know if I could handle it now, my old back ain't as tough as it used to be, I ride a solo seat but it has padding on it. If I go that route I'm definitely holding on to my other two seats for road work in case I cant do the long rides again. I really like the position the BB puts you in, but I would have to try it. 57 is a lot older than 41 sometimes.

I don't know about a gold star, but you've sure earned a bottle of Gold Bond powder!
