Run Turn Brake Kit

I installed the run turn brake light kit from the dealer on my 07 Herritage Classic and notice a big differance in the brightness of the running lights(turn signals) than the tail light. The tail light seems much dimmer, Nothing in the instruction sheet mentioned changing bulbs. Do I need to put in a dual filliment bulb in the turn signal sides or put in a brighter tail bulb?Thanks in advance.

Not sure, but I believe that is to allow for the brake lights to be brighter.

Go to a led taillight. Changed out the taillight on my Heritage and went to the led from HD. It is bright on brake and brighter than a stock bulb on just taillight. I need to do that on my Wideglide. It has a filament cat's eye rear taillight and is hard to see. Put run/stop/multi-flash kits on both of my bikes. The only time I feel vulnerable riding is sitting stopped at a light or sign. Makes me a sitting duck and I want them to at least see me as I try to get out of the way.

Chrome 1156 bulbs will knock it down enough to match up the other lights. Still plenty bright with the brakes and turn signals lit.

I'm running led's in both bikes on the rear end and haven't noticed that the turn sigs in running light mode are that much brighter than the taillight.
