So I had an old shovel/pan dash in the garage sitting there doing nothing. While I was wrenching on the bike I'd occasionally pull out my phone to check the time. Then it hit me, I should drop a clock in there. Well, so I did.
I went to WalMart and bought a cheap $5 bell clock and the housing fit perfectly. A couple minor adjustments and some screws, some weather stripping, and I have myself a shop clock. I need to get the replacement Gen/Oil light cover and wire some LEDs under it. And for now I just bolted on one of the bells over the ignition. But all in all, not bad for some spare parts laying around and five bucks.
