My wife knows what I wear, obviously, but I am not going to argue with her. I always wear jeans or riding pants (Olympia), boots, gloves. She will wear shorts, tennis shoes, sandles, etc. Not worth the argument as I have explained the consequences on a number of occassions. I am a big believer we are all adults and you live with your decisions.

Around here in this heat shorts and flip flops are considered normal summer riding gear. For this mornings ride I was wearing tennis shoes, jeans and a t-shirt. That's as far as I go, I don't ride in shorts or flip flops.

My wife made up her own mind. First short ride she took with me and her right foot got HOT from the cat. She now wears boots.

On the other hand, she wanted to wear these flimsy, light weight, slacks to go on our ride yesterday. I told her to put on jeans or I was going by myself.
