Boots or what.
Just viewed a thread where this guy showed us some pictures of his ride along highway 1 on the West coast. In the last picture it showed what I am assuming is his girl friend wearing short pants (in my day they called them Capri's) and flip flops. I'm just wondering, how many of you out there allow your girl friends / wife's ride on the back of your bike with just flip flops or some light flimsy shoes?
I know I wear a good leather jacket, heavy jeans and heavy boots and won't let anyone on the back without a good jacket, long pants and heavy shoes or boots. Do you agree or not?

MY wife knows better but to anyone who wants to ride on the back, definetly pants and boots and preferablly a long shirt as well..... Saftey always comes first!!

My wife is geared and armored--helmet, jacket, kevlar jeans and gloves (she is a pianist and her hands are important)--same as me, when she rides with me. (And looks pretty cute at the same time. My son says she looks like the Pink Power Ranger.)

it is none of our business what someone else wears...personally think everyone should wear a helmet. atgatt? it will be 108 degrees where i live today. probably be a good idea to break-out the lemon pledge. t-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes, and all exposed skin covered with pledge---protection from sun burn and you should just slide down the road if you fall!!
