Anybody have any problems at all with the WHEELDOCK chock? I'm thinking of getting one to use on the trailer and in the garage. Appreciate all comments.
No experience with that one. Have used the Condor system. Its simple and it works, if you load and unload your bike by yourself these are a life saver. Pricey but worth it. http://store.condor-lift.com/
i recommend the condor also. i have had mine for almost 5 years and just now got off the phone with them. there is not a problem with my chock, but i had more of a concern about something, and they are going to hook me up, even though the chock isn't broken, and is way out of warranty.
super nice folks, and a great product. what more could you ask for?
I guess I'm the only one who went cheap. I got the US General chock from Harbor Frieght. $39 w/ coupon. Works as a good as my buddies Condor.
I have a condor wheel chock and a few years ago on the way to Daytona I hit some ice and spun around a couple of times and ended up half way into a 3 foot deep snow bank. I kept expecting to find my bike flying over the bedsides of the pickup. The bike was tied down properly but I hit pretty violently and have to believe the condor helped in keeping the bike where it was supposed to be. I have to wonder if things would have ended differently with that harbor frieght chock?
A great American made quality product that does what it is supposed to!

No need to keep wondering...I'll loan you one of my HF wheel chock's and you can try to replicate the accident with it. Never have had any issues with either of them in the garage, back of the truck, or the trailer myself.
*Sarcasm on
I've driven my Ford Truck 118K trouble free miles. I have to wonder If things would have ended differently with a Chevy truck. *Sarcasm off

Um ok,I believe mine would still be safely in the chock also. I have good American made Powertye straps to keep it strapped down. Like I said,my friend bought a Condor, and it is a nice chock. All I was saying was next to his the Harbor Frieght one is basically the same chock. They both work great. I didn't think I needed to defend my purchase, but I guess I do!

Have two of the Harbor Freight ones and no problems with it at all. Really cant see how it could be a problem. Big thing is having the bike strapped down properly. I use double straps at each corner just in case one should let loose. Your bucks though.

I have the Harbor Freight chock (the larger General black one)
It works fine except with the narrow Wide Glide tire and rim on the front, it doesn't fit as tight as I would like
I think I would have this problem with the other chocks but am I open to any input on the subject
