Went to my local dealer today to talk with a trusted parts sales man who used to work in service and has a couple of hopped up bikes that turns his own wrenches on.
I asked his opinion on which direction to go to get some more HP out of my DWG. His reply was based on the investment. Set the budget first. For the higher end option he recommended the Stage 4 103" package. It shows to have over 110 hp and torque. Anyone heard of this and running it?
I think I may go that direction. The price of the kit is around $2300 and I will need to have it installed.
To be honest--before going anywhere with anything try upgrading your clutch. It is one the most overlooked upgrade factors on the market. A clutch adding 70% more grab than the stock clutch is totally detectable & might be all ya want right now.
