I've been riding motorcycles all my life. But when got this new bike, I found this message board. New bike means new ****. All of the ideas came from here.
1) $7 Radio Shack alarm. Great install instructions, works great. And for 7 bucks, if and when it dies, I'll simply install another one.
2) $6 rubber ducky antenna. Looks and works great.
3) J & S Jack. Just got the jack last week, used it for the first time on Friday. These things kick ***, end of story. A lifetime product. I don't know how I survived all those years without one. No more laying on the floor to change my oil.
4) Redline tranny fluid. Jury is still out on this one. Just put it in this weekend. Basically synthetic gear oil dyed red. My whole shop smells like gear oil now. Bike seems to shift just fine, I really don't notice a difference from Formula+.
LOL....yeah, I think that's it for now. HOWEVER, that doesn't include all the research and thread searching I did on other ****, like the SE compensator, X-ieds, etc.
Found the pledge idea here, but best off all I found my 05 Road King Custom
here!! Also a nice set of stretched bags and rear fender, yet to be mounted.
