What is your preference in a good quality, very compact rain suit?
Something easily packed, with excellent protection, and suitable for spring and summer wear?
I bought the HD Gore-Tex jacket and pants. It's expensive, but you'll have it forever.
I'm a big fan of Gore-Tex rainwear since it's comfortable in warm weather. Order
it off the web from someone like Zanotti's or mandmcycle for about 20 percent less
than the dealer.
Harley makes some really good stuff, and it is all made specifically for motorcycle riding. All have panels for muffler protection, and other features that relate to motorcycle riding.
The first is a $19.99 really light-weight suit I got online. I carry this one with me when there is the possibility of rain and I will be riding a while. Doesn't offer any warmth or anything else.
The other is a Harley set. I little thicker so it offers warmth. Also has vents velcro straps and some other goodies. I carry that when I know I am going to need heavy weather protection (Sturgis trip etc). That one cost me just over $100 but is 5 years old and has lots of life left in it.
