Decel pop / backfiring

That setting is for the fuel not the ignition. When I first got my PC III installed I had to adjust the closed throttle position by adding fuel to the 0 section or I would get very loud popping. It seriously sounded like a shotgun going off and even scared a few people.

Another thought, if your using O2 eliminators, check to make sure they are plugged in tight and also that the diode on top isn't damaged. If they are messed up they would fool the ecm and cause issues...
Also as mentioned before, the exhaust, make sure its tight everywhere, at the engine and mufflers.
