Default Decel pop / backfiring

SO I got a power commander 3 from fuelmoto and all the decel popping and backfiring stopped. Until last week. Now I am running sluggish, on decel it sounds like a pack of fire crackers in a coffee can and it backfires every time I start it. I rip the throttle at a light and sometimes it sounds like a gun that went off and then threw up.... I have only had the unit installed for about 2 months. I pulled it off yesterday and all of the values that were on my map are still on there so its not like it lost the fill. I have a stock ECM, Screamin eagle intake and V&H Longshots without baffles. I am using map # 805-009.... Does anyone know what I can do?

I emailed fuelmoto a couple of times but havent heard anything back.

Try unplugging the battery for a day or so, might reset the ECM.

Sounds like there are more than a few people having issues with the PC3.

There's more than a few people that have had trouble with anything ever made.
I've had my PC3 for 4 years and no problems.

I didn't say it would help you. I was responding to TennesseeMustangPerf's post.

Basic's first. What color are the plugs? Have you checked thoroughly for a vacuum leak? Is your spark timing controlled by computer or do you have mechanical parts that move as you accelerate?
Is there any water in your latest load of fuel?
& what are your plugs gapped at?
Hatch.

Not that I can give you anymore advice but if the emails don't work, shoot em a call. I got through pretty quick that way.

BTW, I agree with your quote totally!

Can't offer any advice, and I don't intend to hijack your thread or anything, but I get a little decel popping from time to time. Is it such a bad thing?
