AFter looking all night at bikes, I just don't see one that fits me. The Baggers, while luxurious, are so big and seem top heavy as hell. The 103 is nice and I do love the Harley rumble, but just have a hard time justifying the 18k for another bike. Giving my V-Rod away, or at least that's the way it feels, is making me sick to my stomach.

Maybe we can rent one and try it...

You can also have a convertible sleeper street bike.Shoehorn a big inch air pump between the frame rails, cruise around with bags and shield for the wife,10 minutes removal time for shield and bags now you have a street burner.

Either that or edit all your previous threads.
There is a Vrod at the local dealership here that the guy fitted out with bags and a windscreen. See if she likes this? The seat is from Corbin with the dual backrests.

Get the best tourer Harley makes, a Road Glide. Get a Custom with a detachable tour pack and you will have the best of two worlds.

Ever think of getting her own bike, make things easier then you can keep what you want to ride. My wife rides her own and if she was in on my bike choices my RK would not be possible....give her a gift of the MSF newbie class then if she does well go get her smthing she likes? Just a suggestion?
