No offence to anyone out there but I believe the OP liked this bike for what it is, a Harley Sport Bike. If your going to put bags and winshield now your making it something its not. The only wise decision is to put her on her own fricken bike. All the bikes suggested above are great bikes but he loves his VRod and nothing else is going to give him the same kind of wood. JMHO

Get an ultra... Spend less money taking stuff off... Eventually you will want a trunck and speakers and this and that... Buy big... Take extras off...

Bought the 2012 Ultra Limited. COuldn't be happier. Took a BEATING on the trade, but I think this is worth it. Hoping to re-finance in a year once I build my credit and money up. AMAZING motorcycle.

The Road King Classic is well worth a look
It seames to me a little more sporty than
the rest of the touring line but this is only
an opinion and you know what they say

I tried a V rod when my fatty was in for its first service great experience and thought it would put me off the fatty but it did the oppersite.

You will enjoy the change what ever you decide to go for.
