The old lady next door to me got moved to a home because she is like 98 and can't live alone anymore. So her kids are selling the house. Today they're showing it to some DB with his prim wife and new Honda Pilot. My neighborhood is changing and a new crowd is starting to move in.
I'm raking my leaves off the lawn so I can mow and he says "this tree makes a mess huh" I say "yeah but it gives good shade". He then says "when I move in it will be coming down anyway". So I'm like WTF? He then says "and you won't be firing up that Harley day and night either".
At this point I look over to my neighbors son John and say "hey John, can you not sell your Mom's house to this *******?" and he goes "don't worry Mike this guy just spent an hour telling me how disgusting and shitty my Mom's house is and how he'll have to tear it apart, I wouldn't sell it to him". The look on the guys face was priceless.
So prospective buyer ******* with your new pilot and wide bottom wife, some people still have a sense of community and treat neighbors decent. Mowing that ladies lawn for two years and taking her trash out paid off by not having you and your arrogant *** move in.
Good deal! I hate people like that. I try to be very respectful of my neighbors. Especially with my bike. The pipes are stock, but there is still a rumble at 6:30 in the morning on the quiet street. So I fire it up and let it warm up in the garage. Then I back it out, and cost to the end of the driveway before plopping it into gear and heading out. Even then, I cruise slowly and as quietly as I can out of the neighborhood. But if I had a neighbor like that guy, I'd probably do whatever I could to make his life miserable, and then dare him to do something about it.
no offense to your home state but my neighbor is from NY and he's an ***hole to. would love to send him back home! some people aren't happy unless they're making life miserable for those around them. someday the sky will fall in on them and they'll likely not get any help from the other decent neighbors.
good luck with the house next door. I hope it works out for you.
