During the times I've ridden there, the best advice I received was from several of the experienced sportbike riders: "Just ride your ride and hold your lane. when there's an opportunity to pass, they'll take it from there." Just my $.02...

I'd really like to ride this next year early in the season (late april - May). Will probably go down on a sunday and ride it monday morning, stay maybe until wednesday. My question is what other stuff is there to do around that area? What's a good place to stay at etc?

Wayah Rd. and Hwy 209 are MUST rides. Both make the Dragon look tame. There must have been over 500 bikes at the Dragon Saturday. Lots of hotdoggers and idiots.

hey a heads up on air lift . I have great insurance but it doesn't cover life flight ...I live in IL so the major company is evac ( life flight I'm sure is similier ) , but you can get insurance from them for 5 bucks a month through a coop or like 6 bucks from them that covers everybody who lives in the household. its cheap...better can getting slammed with a huge bill if you happen to go down
