ok, i work in the city and live in the country. Sat morning i was driving home from work and stopped at a red light to turn right. A pickup truck almost clipped me, passed me, ran the red light and turned right. For some reason he decided to stop at the next red light and i stopped next to him. i looked over at him and he was yelling and giving me the finger. I put my hands up like whats the problem. He rolled his window down and started yelling somemore, i dont speak spanish but i know it wasnt good. I asked him if they stop for red lights in mexico, which i should have just let it go when i could tell he had either been drinking or high, and this was at eight o'clock in the morning. Next thing i know he slams his center console up and pulls out a pistol. I am not a kid anymore and i see alot of bad sh** at my job done by firearms in the hands of the wrong people but i have to admit i lost control and told him what i thought. I do have a concealed permit but left the lcp at home and had my h&k usp 45 in my saddlebag. this is the problem, i realized carrying in my saddlebag is useless. I need some of yall to tell me how u carry a fullsize frame pistol while riding and can get to it easily and fire while wearing thick cold weather gloves. I know i cant fire my lcp with thick gloves they are just to thick to get in the trigger guard. This situation could have turned out alot worse if i did have my pistol easily accessable but it also could have been worse the way it actually went down. i would never shoot or even pull a gun on anyone unless i felt like my life or my families life was in jeopardy and thats what is bothering me. i honestly feel now that i've calmed down that all he had to do was pull the trigger and game over for me. I dont want to ever feel like someones got the upper hand on me again and will find someway to carry and be able to get to it quick from now on, and suggestions would be very helpful, thanks
