My mother doesn't worry so much about my job(F.D.) or my side job(Boll Weevil Trapper) as she does about my riding, GO FIGURE!!!!. When I told her that I was going to purchase a FATBOY she wasn't very enthusiastic about it (even though I ride now) I just simply told her that I can't live in a cage forever It was like a light went on in her head and she said that she completely understood.

My parents have been adamantly against them my whole life.
Dad bought one before I was born and crashed it 100' later.

I bought mine, and told them. Mom couldn't wait to see it, and wanted to go for a ride. Dad likes it, but hates that I ride it. He wishes I just looked at it. So we don't talk about me riding it, and he keeps his fantasy in tact

I'd just show up at their place on it. A harley is more than a bike, and it might trigger some fond memories of their childhood when they see it.

Good luck. Maybe keep your helmet on until you figure out if they are gonna beat you over the head. Oh, take your full face... it will show them that you are being as safe as possible vs your 1/2.

Just ride over wearing your chaps with a thong on. They'll never even notice the bike.

Hold it...I thought you had to have brass ***** to ride in the first place? And you're on a HARLEY. Why do you care at this stage of your life what your parents think? Maybe you should trade the Harley in for a moped, then they won't be so hard on you...

aren't you an adult and live on your own?
I am convinced by all his previous posts he is not an adult. I have even asked him with no reply. No big deal, anyone is free to post here. My guess it is all make believe.

Just ride it up to the house like nothin' new. If they ask tell them the truth, if they don't all's good.

One way or another, tell them. You will feel a lot better about yourself.

Glad I don't have this problem, in fact I would have the opposite problem if I sold my bike.

Oh, I know...

Tell your mom, but tell her that your dad went with to buy it and you were suprised she didn't know.

Your dad will never know what hit him and they will forget about you

Oh yeah, now that I know you borrow money to pay bills and then go to the casino with it I want to go with!

I never asked my parents for money, as an adult. For some odd reason my kids ask me all the time and they are adults! Even the guy next door asked me for money. Jeeze!
