Comparing Heritage

Need some opinions/input folks. My wife says she is ready to move up from her 99 sporty and I've read in the past that the softtail heritage is a great balanced bike with a very low centre of gravity compared to the sportster.My wife is a bit intimidated by the bike I'm looking at purchasing which is an 89 heritage softail with only about 20 thousand miles on it which to me is mint and very stock, it was a trade in from the one owner. So question is, is there differnces between an EVO 89 heritage softail and a TC heritage softail as far as ride, weight , centre of gravity etc is concerned?

I would look into the Softail Deluxe, very low center of gravity as well as seat hieght!!
