I tried there too but haven't gotten much of an answer yet. Ok so here goes...just got a RK classic (2004) bike came with a Corbin 2 up seat on it which is the rk-dt-97.
From what I hear this is a great seat and I know it is kind of expensive, however, I am only 5'9" tall with a 30" inseam and the seat puts me to far back and a little to high. I am on the ***** of my feet at a stop and can't even reach the highway pegs on the back unless I am tip-toed.
I am wondering if a Sundowner seat would push me up and lower me slightly?
I am also now left with a nice Corbin seat I can't use.
Seriously though, there is a company that shaves seats like found on the Road King, might be the answer to your prayers. I can check around if you like, and find out who it is. The dealership locally knows of them. They apparently do great work, the 2009+ 'King sits too wide for me to stand flat footed, and they can apparently counter this.
I am 5' 8" and have a 29 inseam and had Corbin build a touring seat for my 2008 Street Glide to fit my size. I am completely flat foot with a good bend in my knees. They accomplished this by shaving the nose of the seat which get's my leg's straight down. To give you a better idea, on the stock Street Glide I was on the ball of my foot. To order the custom seat you simply give Corbin you height and inseam measurements. I could not be happier with the way it turned out. No problem with the seat position either.
