Why? A windshield is something lasts for years and years, you don't just try one out to see if you like it.

Clearview has great customer service, the windshields are awesome. Everyone who has one swears by it, and there are hundreds of folks on this forum that use them.

I don't need a new one, but I will probably get some stuff to buff out the little scratches.

Another Clearview customer here. Tried a competitor recurve. Bad mounting set up (possibly operator error) caused cracking. Called Clearview and asked for a specific shield for a 2000 mile trip upcoming in 7 days but they were out of stock. Clearview suggested an alternative, a smoked blem windshield was in stock and they could send it straight away. I said yes, got it in 2 days, couldn't find blemish and the smoke tint was barely there. Idiot proof mounting set up with grommets. Screen has exceeded my expectations in dry weather. Rain, not so much, you would think that at speed that the rain would run to the sides some. Seems to accumulate. Anyways, going to get another, shorter screen, one that will allow me to see over without stretching. Current screen seems to throw wind at least 6 inches over my head and its topline is at eye level. I think with a 2" shorter screen it will be perfect.
