Well to me since it has the Tour Pak and saddle bags, it's a sport style bike turned into a cruiser, at least in my book which is usually wrong lol. Now lets see a car tire on a Busa, Ducati or any other crotch rocket and then see how it does in the twisties.

Actually, it is its own category of bike. It is a "sport touring" bike. BMW GTL, Kawasaki Concours, Honda ST1300, Yamaha FJR, etc. Touring bikes that can easily run 140-160 mph and handle twisties.
Look at that bike carefully. It is set up for long distance runs.

The rider of that bike is more concerned with getting a lot of miles from his tires than debating whether car tires work on a motorcycle.. Clearly no one has told him they won't work...
There are a lot of people who don't agree with you. Those who use car tires get pretty fierce about it, even tho it makes no sense to me.
I made my comment with tongue-in-cheek. I would run a car tire on my Dyna if I could find a tire that fits. I've searched to the best of my knowledge, no car tires will fit on a Dyna.
And as blaphemous as this is, My next bike will almost certainly be a sports tourer. I will keep the HD, but want something different to cover the long miles.
No reason to do it to the front, I already get 20,000 miles on it. And, if I can't find a back tire, what are the odds I can get a 100/90-19 skinny car tire for the front?

Drag racers (cars) use skinny tires all the time to cut weight. They've even been known to use a set of motorcycle tires up front on their semi-useless front end. The difference is the amount of rubber meeting the road. The front, rounded tire holds so much space in a ratio to the flat roadway, which has a slight gradient to accommodate water run off; the rear tire, flat, holds plenty of space when--flat--but loses that space progressively as the turn/curve increases, also, a rounded rear tire holds a steady amount of space w/ the road, whereas a flat rear tire actually rises against cohesion levels, affecting not only the amount of rear tire making contact w/ ground but, the front wheel's dynamics too, including steering (especially at high speeds).

Have you looked at a stock tire off a 62 VW bug? They were pretty narrow. Also tongue-in-cheek
