Any tricks of the trade other than what is in the Service Manual? Can I use my lift so the bike is straight up? Book says to sit on the bike, I know the bike will sit higher, than when I'm sitting in the saddle, but when adjustments are made, you have to keep getting off and on the bike?
This seems to be a simple task, but for some reason my beam is shining just left to center of road.
if it's shining to the left, turn the horizontal adjustment screw in (clockwise) I usually go 1/4 turn at a time,at night while in the middle of my street with the light on. gotta keep gettin' on & off, but should only hafta do it once the entire time you own the bike. Even changing the bulb shouldn't affect adjustment.
I wouldn't use my lift for anything other than changing a tire or anything requiring the wheels to be off the ground, etc. Too many accidents waiting to happen.
