Get rid of those damn Torx bolts and get allen head they work much better and don't strip.

+1 Go to Orchard Supply Hardware. They sell really nice Chrome Allen Head bolts that look exactly like the original Torx (27) bolts except that they have three advantages: 1.) They're Chrome, 2.) They're Allen Head and 3.) They're not cheap $h!t pot metal like the OEM bolts.

Well that is a new one for me. I have always like the torx fastenors because they had never stripped out on me before.

That's what I do, no trouble in 38K miles

Harley uses Torx Plus size bolts that are just a hair bigger than Torx regular. The Torx Plus bits are more expensive as well. On ebay, they are always more expensive.

T-27 if you are using a T-25 that is your problem
