RoadKing: Gonna do a race tune. Got the pipes & all the parts, just gotta bring it in. Also, I have added alot of chrome & stuff that I took off my last 2 RoadKings (always de-chrome & put stock stuff back on when I sell), but in keeping with my beliefs in customizing, absolutely NO CHROME COVERS will go on my bike. Might replace stock parts with chrome ones, but I will never COVER a functional part with a piece of chrome.
Fatboy: Maybe a Mikuni;Maybe a tach;that's about it.

Got a Heavy job ahead of me. But first alittle backround on it. In 2008 I bought a FXDC and had some great rides, Then was laid off and lost it in a bankrupcy. About 9 months went by when I got this phone call from a woman I had never met. She wanted to know what I did for maintance on the bike, so i told her. Then I asked her if she would let me take over the payments and without hesitation she said YES I was happy to get the bike back. Then she went and bought another 2011 Street Bob and rode thru the summer together. I got up to go to work one September morning and heard she crashed and was in hospital. Now its November Shes ok and back home but the bike was totaled by the Ins. company. Told her to keep it and I'd see about putting it back together. Now here is the topper she is goning to give it to me. I will be putting some pictures up here and looking for parts. I have a good idea of whats good and whats not. The frame, frontend, engine, tranny, are all good. The bike slid backwards don't ask me how that happened. Landed right side down cought fire and burnt and I'm pretty sure it wasn't a gas fire but an oil fire. It was put out before it got to the tank. The wires on the throttle body and along that side are toast. This may be more than a winter project. Just so you know the Super Glide FXDC still mine. Its been a strange year.
1. Get & install oil temp gauge in place of the ambient air gauge
2. Pull a few parts off & get them powdercoated black, specifically the fairing bracket/brace, headlight trim ring, and a few little parts like ignition switch & shifter lever cap (from where I pulled the back shifter off)
3. Kuryakin Flip Blades
4. Oil Cooler
Now, how many will I actually get done? Probably just 1 & 2.
