Hav ya seen this thing , this guy posted this on a another forum could not agree more. I hear the 2013 EPA HD bikes will have a giant strobe light and the exhaust is so quiet u can hear a mouse fart!
This bike looks to be the result of a corporation embracing the government while trying to appeal to the masses.
Not a bad bike, executed well I am sure. But if the above approach is something I am into, why not by a Honda? . They also need not appeal to the masses. Quite a conundrum for a corporation, I'm sure. Especial in today's world. I see the price of used Harleys skyrocketing in future.

Moco (or any manufacturer) embraces the govt and EPA regs the way France embraced the *****. In other words, they have no choice.
If Moco wants to continue to produce air-cooled V-twins, they will have to make the bikes worse, and worse, and worse (and then add strobes). It will get to the point that the bikes will barely roll off the showroom floor under their own power.
Enter the aftermarket. There will be many "fixes" available (as there are now) from aftermarket suppliers. If we want to keep riding "traditional" air cooled V-twins, expect to have to drop about 2 grand into your new bike the day after you buy it to make it run right.
This is nothing new. Go buy a KTM dirtbike. You will immediately get rid of the smog equipment, re-jet, uncork, among many other mods which are absolutely essential to make the bike run worth a damn.
