Tennessee law is blade cannot exceed 4 inches. Longer than that and it's jail time.

You can't even prepare a sandwich with such a short blade. Get those suckers that govern you pack and go home, and get some CIVILIZED HUMANS to make laws.

In Kentucky, you can't carry any knife too big for you to pick up - otherwise, anything including a sword is fine, worn in the open, and an "ordinary hunting knife" can be carried concealed with no permit (and, of course, any weapon from a switchblade to a machinegun can be carried concealed with a permit, or in the open without).

Have always carried my work knife (folding lightwieght Buck) everywhere -even on the plane back in the day, I've never been questioned about it.

Like someone else said.. if I'm wearing pants I'm carrying a knife.. either a Kershaw Ken Onion with spring assisted opening, or an Emerson CQC7. I have the CCW permit as well. The regular carry guns are either a "tuned" STI Ranger II or a Kahr P45.

Cheers

I've been riding over 30 years. I have traveled many miles in the US, Canada and Mexico and have never carried a gun, knife or any other weapon. Never had need for one.

I carry a Buck 503. It's small, sharp, and a great tool. I've had it for 30+ years.

Straight blades are illegal here. It must fold and be under 4 inches...

That's plenty to get the job done.
