I carry a pocket knife to pick my nails, A .357 Mag "Snub" CC for the"Deed" if needed!
Hell! If I had to choose beween a knife and a ballpeen hammer, I'd take the hammer.
Best wishes, and Merry Christmas.... Tim(HT)
I hate that saying lol...............if it was going to happen....by the time a person figured out a knife was even brought into play , it would be to late for the gun.
When I carry, it is a Benchmade AFO (auto) in a I Gerber multi- tool sheath and a Colt 1911 Officer lightweight 45. My CCW permit has been active for over 30 years. I suppport the 822 bill for National Carry and have been a continuing member of the NRA for 40 years. I prefer the 45 over the knife, but they both have their specific uses.
Here in Italy carrying any knife is illegal unless you have a valid reason (hunting, sporting or something that is obvious from time and place context), I always carry a knife nonetheless, riding or otherwise. It's not a weapon, it's a tool, the most useful and versatile tool invented in the last 20.000 years.
Usually I carry a CRKT M16, plain edge.
