I have heated gloves and heated jacket liner but don't really see the point of heated pants unless you are snowmobiling. Overpants with an under layer of insulation are enough to keep the legs warm down to below freezing temps if your core is warm.

+1 on these pants. I ordered one size larger than normal (which they tell you to do) and I am very satisfied with them. MUCH better than chaps (especially ***-less! )

Planet Knox Cold Killers which are windproof insulating Long Johns, glove liners and socks. I just wear that under jeans, a North Face fleece and Leather Jacket. Except for a few layers same out fit for most of the year. I rode the other day and left the house in 25 degree weather with a bunch of highway time. They work perfect, at least down to these temps and no Michelin man affect.

After reading the posts I placed my order for the First Gear quick-dry leather overpants.

Thanks for all the feedback on the different brands available....I liked the idea of the thigh venting along with the two way zippers allowing some air flow if needed.

Also, I am hopeful the stretch panels will make for a more comfortable ride and less bunching of the pants over all.

Regards Dave
