I take mine off all the time when I am working on it or washing it. You must just take yours to the dealer for every little thing.

Brukus for me. Very cheap insurance for a $20K+ scooter. The system has bolts that need a special key for removal. However, removal takes less than a minute per bag with the key. No ties to Brukus, just a fine product.

+1 on the Brukus stuff

I have the saddlebag locks and seat lock. Great products and Brukus is a forum sponsor.

I live in NY the state most people associate with crime and until i saw this thread i never once thought about someone jacking either my bike or my bags...Except for ralleys most of the time i go to the same places, see the same fellow riders etc and would not think they would rip my hard bags off..Im not naive by any means maybe cause its just so damn packed with people everywhere i go no idiot would think of doing it for fear of getting caught or these days being videotaped...If i caught them doing it thats another story....But hey thats what insurance is for

Are the Brukus keys all the same, or are they like a normal key? Just wondering in my mind if a thief had a Brukus key could they unlock any of those locks or only his?

I've heard from folks that stolen hard bags are sold on ebay all the time. I was warned not to buy any as they are usually pretty tore up around the mounting holes. I guess you could get them fixed for an additional price. Just knowing somebody got ripped off is enough to stop me from buying though.

(of course maybe if somebody offered me some blue sunglow bags I would be tempted)

thieves steal from easy pickens, I mean that's just the way it is...........

Replace at least one of your EZ pick spring latch with a bolt and
fender washer with a teflon nut

Carry a gun and exercise your second amendment rights, it's not just a good Idea , It's the law

Been very happy with the brukus system. I know if someone wants it bad enough they will try anything. Most of the time the thiefs are looking for the fast and super easy. I also did the seat bolt. Got to get the seat bolt for the dyna.

they still have to get inside the bag, which if locked will take additional time as well, makes it easier to just hit the next bike. no different than having a bolt in there, just cant knock it out from the outside
