Ordered from Surdyke and all I got was this Lousy Gift Card
They had great prices off Harley OEM parts, so I ordered a rear tail light assy about mid December. No hurry, it's winter.
Finally, they say my order will ship January 7th. WTF, they ordering this from Harley, THEN shipping it to me? (via China no doubt). Well, yesterday I get an email saying my order was cancelled with no explanation (say they tried to call me) and they're giving me a gift card. Really makes me want to spend more money there. Told them I don't want their gift card, I want my part or a refund.
Things happen, I suppose, but as far as first impressions, this one stinks.

I agree the refund should be an option, give them a call, I'm sure they'll work with you.
I've ordered lots of parts from Surdyke, always had great service and price.
Turns out, if you can believe this, their system let me complete the order without "agreeing to their terms of service". Be nice if they would have stated that in the first email they sent me a month ago. Well, at least I'll use the gift card to order the same dang part...
I've ordered a couple times from Surdyke and have been mostly pleased. My biggest gripe is that they will charge you immediately for parts that may be backordered for weeks.
They should have issued you a refund if they couldn't get you the part. In fact they should never have charged you for it in the first place!! Gift card. That's bogus.

This is my biggest problem with them. Soon as you hit send...they charge your card. Not a big fan of that process....then the whole refund thing has to play out.
But every time they've done that to me I've gotten a refund. Just kind of a BS way to run things.
