Lost a couple over the years and there's always several turn up missing at big runs , people will steal a bag of garbage on a whim so it's expected somewhat and you guys love to leave those $300 plus things just laying around unlocked . I beat the hell outa lids early so they are all nice and road wore and guess what none have disappeared since .

Never had a problem with helmet that I and most others leave on the throttle. I'd be more worried about the bike itself. BUT - just get the sticker that says-" HEAD LICE ARE NICE"

Had mine stolen off my bike at a "bikers" camp out years ago, after that I never leave it on the bike or unlocked. Who the F***K steals some ones helmet. This happened 20 years ago and I'm still pissed!

I only ride in Montana and Arizona......both states with no helmet laws. I've never had a problem leaving my helmet in the sissy bar, but maybe it's because their not in demand where I ride??????

Exactly, leave a partly used bottle of lice ointment inside the helmet.
