Met HarleyRanger at the Vegas Antique Bike Auction today. Wow, great event and it was FREE. I've got a boatload of pics to post. Saw a few industry giants - John Parum, Chris Matthews and a few other that I couldn't put a name with the face.
Magician Chris Angel had several bikes up for auction but the jewel of the show was a 1894 Roper with a coal fired steam boiler engine. Also a couple of Steve McQueen bikes. What a great afternoon. Good to met you Eric and the RIO buffet was also excellent.
Fantastic show! This was pretty much the Barrett-Jackson of the motorcycle world. Some of the finest (mostly pre-1940) bikes on the planet under one roof.
The 1894 Roper sold just shy of a half-million dollars! The '26 Steve McQueen bike was fabulous and Steve also had a '36 Harley there as well.
Rizzo, it was a pleasure to meet you and your lovely bride. I look forward to linking up in the future.
