Default Ordering pipes?

I ordered vance and hines big shots for my 2012 blackline 1 month ago from my harley dealer. Today i thought i'd stop and see if they had any of my parts in. ( sepst, cables, dvd, grips, ect) They had everything but my pipes. They said there on back order until march. Should i just get my money and order online? I've seen lots of guys sporting new v&h pipes on there 2012 models on youtube. Just seems like a long time.

If you can find a site with them in stock, I'd order them and get the money back from the dealer.

Gunna do a lot of ridin' up there before March?

My experience with V&H has been a waiting game for the 2 out of three I've ordered. 2+ months wait on the one set.

Did you check with any of the HDF sponsors? They'll give you a good price and the straight scoop on availability.

Jaybull give Heritage Cycle Works in Brockville Ont a call or check out their web sight. Wayne is a great guy to deal with. Very good pricing on Vance and Hines and very fast shipping. They had a deal on for free shipping when I got my big shots long.

The issue is the O2 sensor ports, there wasn't even a part number for the new pipes, they will have both size bungs in them with the OLD part number....The ones you see out there probably have a power Commander or some other tuner that eliminates the 02 sensors. Your Parts guy was being truthful.

If you find them online, order them. I had someone tell me the pipe tips I wanted were on 6 week back order. I found a site where not only were they in stock, I got them for about $23 less each (and shipping was cheap).
