Thumbs down Where are drag specialties parts made?

Does anyone know where drag specialties parts made? I stop using these cheap parts. I found what ever part I got to go on my bike, most times I had to replace that part again in a couple of months.
Just curious if these parts are coming from China?

My recently purchased Michelin Commander II's, purchase from an internet site, had Drag Specialty stickers on them, and I know they're made in France.

Depends on the part but, Drag doesn't make any of their own parts as I recall. I believe they out source all of their parts and package them under the Drag Specialties label. Some of their parts come from the USA others do not. Again, depends on the part.

I bought an air filter from them and it was a Doherty filter repackaged. I crossed the part # on the box which was different the Drag Specialties# that had been stuck on as a sticker and it was the same filter that comes with the Doherty powerpac.

Drag is a distributor not a manufacturer, they are the V-Twin end of Parts Unlimited. In the days before the web a shop needed to get the parts they needed as easily as possible and not spend every waking hour trying to get the parts from the companies that made them so the distributor was born.
