Is this any good, I got the coupon and the reviews say it works well on the sight but then you have other people who say it's just junk. I got the coupon so I was wondering...
I bought one last year and I haven't had any problems with it. Only complaint I have is when you lower it, it drops a little quick. Makes my butt pucker every time I let it down. Just be ready for it.
I have one and it works fine. The only negtive thing I have to say is the lowering pedal doesn't work as you think it would. If you want to lower slowly you have to press the pedal down firmly. If you gently apply pressure to the pedal it comes down fast! It scared the ***** out of me the first time. Other than the fact that you have to get used to that, it's a great value IMO.

See my previous post, if you want to lower slowly, press the pedal firmly!
I have this lift - definately not junk. One of the rare things you can get from Harbor Freight that isn't. It's solidly made and functions really well. As for the weird lowering issues - hold the bike and stomp the release lever, and it will ease down slowly. Try finessing the lever and your bike will drop like a rock. Use it as the instructions say and it works fine.
Spend a little more and get this one. I've had it three years (built my bike on it) and it rises and lower via the handle. You can let it down in a very controlled manner.
I have used this jack for 2 years with no problems. I drilled a hole in the pedal and inserted a bolt and nuts (for adjustment). The bolt stops on jack frame to control how far the pedal will go down keeping the bike from lowering to fast.
