Has anyone bought or recovered a seat from C&C motorcycle seats? Any good or bad experiences with these guys
would be appreciated. I don't know much about these guys but they had a booth at Street Vibrations in Reno and I
was really impressed with what I saw. Their alligator skin seats looked as professionally done as any stock seat that I've
ever seen.
I recently learned about them from this board myself. Was getting impatient waiting on LePera or Mammoth Choppers to release a good looking solo for the 06-07' softails with the 200 rear tire and wider fender. Went to C&C's site, looked at their products and gave them a call. Put my order in last week, had the new seat in about 4 days. Got it on the bike and went for a ride yesterday - I like it. Good fit, good craftsmanship and the price is right there with the 2 suppliers I mentioned above. Give them a call and see what they can do. Chuck sent me several photos of this seat on an 06' that wasn't currently on their site at the time. Good people.
I don't but Dad got one for his Fatboy. Looks great, comfortable, well made and they were eager to please. Good people to deal with. Cut from cowhide and buffalo leather.
Thanks for the response guys. Both of those seats look first class to me. you never know if the actual 'production' seats are going to look
as good as the ones that are on display. If I can ever pay off Christmas , I think I'll go with them.
The farthest I have been is 30 miles so far (winter time here). But, comparing this one to my last solo (LePera Bare Bones), 100 miles should be a piece of cake. I went 400 on the LePera once - it hurt later........
