Buff with shoeshine brush, then bring to a gloss with shoeshine rag.
I enjoy shining up my shoes and boots, and have an old fashioned shoe shine box. For a while you couldn't buy an American Made one but now you can again.
Been using saddlesoap and Kiwi polish on my jump boots I've had since '99. The leather is still in good shape and I wear them a few times a year, put the polish to them once or twice a year.
Good stuff! I dry my boots at the base of the refidgerator. Lay them on thier sides with the insides facing the grill. Dry them from the inside out. there is a continuious flow of warm air coming out of the grill, and coat the with that stuff. Use an acid brush to work it into the seams and stitching. Then coat the rest of the boot, then buff it with a soft cloth.
Works good--last a long time.
Best wishes....Tim(HT)

There is some Harley black leather care stuff that I use. It is for jackets, but works well on boots too. I may try some f the more involved processes mentioned here in the future to see if it works better.
